Washougal is known as the “Crossroads to Discovery” in the Pacific Northwest. It was visited by Lieutenant William Broughton in 1792, who was sent by Captain George Vancouver to explore the Columbia River, and later by Meriwether Lewis and William Clark during their historic expedition in 1805-1806.
To get to the airport From Washougal, take WA-14 West toward Vancouver/Portland. Merge onto I-205 South (crossing into Oregon) and follow signs for NE Airport Way/Portland International Airport (PDX). The drive is approximately 25-30 minutes.
